Bathing suit season is upon us!

Since bathing suit season is upon us, Addison decided to have a fashion show with her new bathing suits on! John and I cracked up! This is her first bikini but we just couldn't stand not to get it b/c it was so cute on her!

This one (above) is my favorite!!!!!

Addi and I filled over 130 eggs with stickers and little toys for her class to use
in their Easter Egg hunt. She had so much fun and took her job very seriously!
Thank you, Gigi, for the beautiful tea set! Addi enjoyed
serving tea (water) and scones (goldfish).
Baby Finley is growing and so is my belly (29 weeks)! Addi loves to kiss and poke her via my belly button. Finley should weigh between 2 1/2 and 3 pounds now. She kicks and moves all the time, especially after I eat. She gets hiccups about 3 times a day. We just can't wait to meet her in June!

Georgie and then Spring Break

A few posts ago, I showed some pictures of Addison with the Curious George that my sweet friend, Stephanie, at school let Addi borrow. Well, Stephanie surprised me at school on Monday with this precious "Georgie" for Addi and a Curious George book with 4 stories in it. She is just the most thoughtful person! She has always been so loving toward Addi anytime we take her up to school. Addison just adores her! Since Addison got George, she carries him everywhere! We have to read all 4 stories in the book each night before bed.

For Spring Break, Randy asked us if we wanted to go to Destin with them. It was truly an answer to prayer b/c I had been telling John over and over how much I wanted to go to the beach. Randy organized it all so we just had to pack and show up which was so nice! We had the best time! The kids got along so well and had lots of fun! We only had one rainy day which wasn't bad b/c we spent the day shopping. The seafood was especially delicious this time, and boy did we eat a ton of it!

fun at the beach in the pool
playing with blocks in the condo
Nobody fussed over the sand this year which was fabulous! They all played in it and loved it!

Addison enjoyed making sand birthday cakes and blowing out pretend candles.

(notice the wet bottom- ha!)
Thanks for a wonderful trip!!! We sure did need it!

Bunny Love!

Today when John was cleaning out Domino's cage, Addison begged to hold Domino. She really loves him and now that she's older, we let her hold him sitting down. Here are some cute pictures of her holding sweet, almost-10-year-old Domino and feeding him a strawberry!

Addi is just like her parents when it comes to her love for animals!

Weekend Wrap-up

Here are some pictures of what we've been up to lately!

We celebrated Paw Paw and Jordan's birthdays. Is this cake from Publix hysterical!
It's the only time I'll ever eat a raw onion! HA!
Addi playing with the birthday boy!
Dartmouth and Addi playing in the leaves on a beautiful, Spring day!

Harry, Sarah, Laura, and John making redneck whistles out of acorns.
napping in the leaves
playing with Georgana and Harry
goofing off in the clothes I was going through and washing for Finley
In just a little over a week, Addison has become almost fully potty trained! This is the cookie that Gigi left for her to eat when she (finally) poo pooed in the potty! YEA! We are so proud of her! It feels so different holding her with panties on rather than a diaper. Her school gave her a certificate b/c she didn't have any accidents at school the whole week (even during nap time!).
Thanks, Cousin Eme, for letting us borrow this adorable shirt!
John and Addi came to school on Friday to help me clean out my fish tank. Addison had a ball performing for the teachers. Sweet Ms. Hulsey let Addi borrow Curious George and the book to go with him for the weekend. Addi took "Georgie" everywhere and had the best time with him! Thanks, Stephanie, for letting George come stay with us!

On Saturday, we worked in the yard the majority of the day. We ate a picnic lunch in the grass (weeds!). We were out there so long that Addi said, "I'm tired of working. I want to go in and get a snack." Too funny!
This is just one small area that we spruced up!
(We rarely dry Addi's hair but she had to have a bath before the early
church service and it was still chilly outside.)
We decided to get Addison some new "large" fish for her aquarium. We've had the same fish that she got for her 1st birthday (they kept having babies and more babies) and felt it was time for a change.
So far, she's name them "Addi" and "Big Bad Wolf." One remains nameless.
More fun with Georgie!
