104.8

Sounds like a radio station or something, but no...it was Finley's temperature yesterday morning. Finley started running fever on Wed. night. So far, the highest temps. are 103.9, 104.6, and 104.8. It's been really scary! We've had to alternate Tylenol and Motrin every 3-4 hours. Even then, she has temps. between 100 and 102. Each time her temperature gets high, we have to put her in the tub or put cool wash cloths on her. John took her to the doctor and they did chest x-rays and blood work. Her white blood cell count was a little high and her chest x-ray showed some "patchiness" so they put her on an antibiotic just in case, but they think it is just a virus. Please pray (as we sure have been) that it will go away soon and that she'll stop running fever. I also pray that Addi doesn't get it. I hate when my girls are sick, especially with high fevers. Addi had something like this when she was 16 months old. Her temp. went to 104.7 and 106.8. We took her to the hospital both times. They ran lots of tests, but found nothing. I hope my next post has much happier news!

FInley's baptism/dedication

For some reason, I thought I'd already posted pictures from Finley's baptism, but I haven't! So here they are:
It was such a special day! Finley and Ellis were both baptized by David Wallace who baptized me as an infant. Finley wore the same dress that I wore when I was baptized. It was wonderful to have Memommy (Finley's great grandmother) there.

The Woolard side of the family

4 generations of girls and John, who is used to being surrounded by girls!
Finley always has a great time playing with cousin Emily!
sweet sisters
the four girl cousins
(We REALLY missed Braden, Grayson, and Weston. We have always had the kids baptized together with family! It wasn't the same without them there.)
Addi and Finley love their cousins, Dartmouth and Jett! It looks like Finley is making the "loser" sign with her hand - funny!
Emily and Aunt Glenda were so sweet to come!
Finley loves her Uncle Randy!
We all went to Red Lobster afterwards to eat together.
I love this picture of Mom and Memommy!
Addi and Eme sat like "big girls" together.
Mom had this beautiful cake made for Finley and Ellis!

We love Prudie and Jim and were so thankful they came to celebrate with us! They are truly "family" to us!

first sleep-over

Addi and Eme had their first sleep-over at Gigi's house last night. It sounds like they had a blast: making pizzas, taking a bath, playing together, watching Beauty and the Beast, eating popcorn, staying up late, making cupcakes this morning, etc. What a special Gigi! She brought them back to our house to see the chicks and play. Here are some pictures:

Eme did great holding the yellow chick. The chick actually went to sleep in her hands.

A few days ago, John and Addi had a daddy/daughter day. He took her to Home Depot and let her pick out flowers. Then, he taught her how to plant them. It was a fun day, and the yard looks much better.

While we planted flowers, Finley enjoyed some pool time (without any water). This was the perfect "safe" place to put her.

Chick Pics

On my way home from picking up the girls, John texted me and said that he had a surprise for us. When we got home he walked us into the playroom and there on the table were 2 precious little chicks! I have always wanted baby chicks (as has John). Here are some pictures of our newest members of the family. They are rather loud little things and "peep" constantly but are oh, so cute!!! We haven't named them yet.

Finley LOVES the chicks. (I think she wanted to put them in her mouth like she does everything else.)

Addi did a pretty good job of being gentle. She did squeeze a little too hard a few times.

Finley is a bundle of love! She is such a sweet baby. Elizabeth, if you read our blog, thank you for the PRECIOUS dress and tights! They fit perfectly, and how nice to already have them monogrammed! (We chose the name "Finley" after reading Julie's friend, Elizabeth's, blog).

Flashback and more

I wanted to see if Finley looks like Addi at 8 months. Here's Addi. What do you think?

Addi again

And here's Finley with her crazy bed head!
Addi is really into sleepovers right now. This was her sleepover last weekend. It's right up her ally because her "friends" can't talk back, take her toys, or interrupt. She has them all under her control! HA!

This was Finley's bath after getting tubes in her ears. We were afraid to get them wet yet. She enjoyed her sink bath.
Addi and Thomas had fun at Austin's birthday party!
Finley played with Ava's brother, Glavin.

Little Bit is pulling up on everything!
