We're back...

John has been teaching Addi the names/kinds of his snakes. She loves it! It cracks me up to see her hold these large pythons. John is very careful and will only let her hold the laid back ones.

I think Finley may pull up and stand before she crawls. She pulls up on everything!
Finley has had some bad bed head lately. Must be those sleepless nights!
William turned 4 years old. He had his party at Super Suppers. The kids made their own pizzas and decorated cupcakes. It was so much fun!

Addi, me, and our babies
I finally found a white long-sleeve shirt so Addi could wear this outfit. She came home with purple paint ALL over it! Dreft spray to the rescue! I love that stuff.
Max celebrated his first birthday!

Addi is always making things. Lately, she's been taping toys to the walls and refrigerator.
We built a fort during the ice storm.

It's been a while since I've posted anything. Here's what we've been up to:
John went to Boston for 7 days for his PhD residency. While he was gone, an ice storm was predicted but thankfully, we didn't lose power. Mary and David stayed with us for those 2 days just in case. Then, Finley and Addi came down with pink eye. Finley has had double ear infections for the past 3 1/2 weeks and has been on 3 different antibiotics (and hasn't been sleeping much). She will be getting tubes as soon as we can schedule her for them. I turned 33 years old (AH!). That's it in a nutshell. I thank God that John got home safely and that we are all back together. We're ready for some normalcy! I'm not a good single/working parent and am so happy that I have John as my better half.

My 100th post!

Wow! 100 posts! I can't believe it...
Addison got this wonderful "Real Construction- Kid Wood" from Gigi for Christmas. Addi has always built things with John, and we've given her pretend tool sets each year for various occasions. This real set is just for her! She was able to saw the wood, screw in the screws, cut the holes for the dowel rods, etc. She is so proud of the chair she helped build! She worked on it with John for about an hour. I highly recommend this for parents and kids to do together!
Her doll can actually sit in it!

Finley decided she didn't need a saw. She could just use her gums and saliva to dissolve the wood. HA!
On New Year's Eve, we went bowling with the cousins and then went to Sol Azteca with the other cousins.
Addi enjoyed bowling but she enjoyed eating her sucker more!
