birthdays, Valentines, and tubes

Here's what's been going on with us lately...

Finley is changing daily! She just turned 8 months old. She crawls, pulls up on her knees and sometimes to her feet. She waves hi and bye-bye. She also claps. She is making all kinds of sounds like Mama, Dada, ga ga ga ga, ba ba ba, etc. We are really enjoying her!

Finley had tubes put in her ears this morning. She did so well! She had no trouble coming out of the anesthesia. Her doctor said that her ears were full of puss (yuck!) so she'll have to be seen tomorrow to make sure the tubes are not blocked due to dried fluid. I really hope this will help her feel better!

John and I bought the girls matching outfits from Target. Cheap and cute!

We went to Ava's birthday party. It was an ice cream themed party and was SO cute! Ms. Lindsey, Addi's teacher, was there! Addi just adores her!

Finley's friends (Sadie and Juliana) were there, too!

We celebrated Julie and Tucker's birthdays at Mom's house. The kids loved looking at baby Ellis.

We celebrated Grandpa, Robert, Harry, and my birthday at Sara's house. Jett, Dartmouth, and Addi played the iPod.

I was feeling guilty that my sweet Finley is 7 months old and I've never had her picture taken professionally. I blame it on work, lack of time/energy, etc. but it doesn't change the fact that it hasn't happened. So, John took Addi to Home Depot so she could nap in the car. I stayed here and set up for a photo shoot in our house. It was so much fun! Finley had a great time, and I was able to change her outfit 3 times. We had the heater going and pretended it was spring rather than the rainy, cold day it is. I think the pictures turned out adorable and can't wait to get them developed.
