This is my style of camping...begin your campout at 6:20, pitch a tent in the backyard (or back-lard as Addi calls it), make a fire and roast marshmallows, play in the tent, read books in the tent, clean-up, and have the kids in bed by 8:30. We had a blast, though we missed not having my family here. The original plan was to have Julie, Tucker, Eme, Ellis, Mom, Randy, Braden, Grayson, and Weston join us but Addi ran fever today (likely due to an ear infection but we were afraid to get her around Ellis). Another thing we did today to make up for Addi not getting to play with her cousins was take a hike in the woods to look for coyote. Addi is all about coyotes right now. We walked all the way down to the small stream at the back of our property. It was great! John and I haven't done that together since before Addi was born.
Mom bought all 4 girls these precious bathingsuits. Addi decided to try her's on and perform for us.
Finley is feeling so much better now. She stopped running fever last Saturday night. She is still on an antibiotic which is really bothering her tummy. She did, however, sleep ALL NIGHT last night! We were thrilled!
Here are some pictures from Elise Rose's party at the McWane Center. It was lots of fun! I can't believe Elise Rose is 4 years old.
Here are some pictures of the girls swimming in the plastic pool. It was Finley's first time with water in the pool. She had the best time. After her lips turned purple, I thought I might better get her out.
